Drs. Seemal Desai and Whitney High will present a series of challenging cases in which the path to the diagnosis required a wide differential, particularly in skin of color. Dr. High, dermatopathologist extraordinaire, will provide the dermatopathologist’s perspective on each case. That is when the challenge really begins. What therapeutic algorithm do you use to begin treating these disorders? In some cases, you need to assemble a multi-disciplinary team or seek consultation from another specialty. In many cases there is no approved therapy. Where do you start? Cases of cutaneous lymphomas from CTCL to BPDCN, generalized lichen planus, generalized granuloma annulare, eruptive xanthomas, leg ulcers, generalized dyspigmentation and more will be the subject of an in-depth discussion.

Dermoscopy Workshop: Special Site Dermoscopy
Dr. Ash Marghoob, one of the premier dermoscopy experts, will teach this year's workshop on dermoscopy. The workshop is designed to bring attendees up to date with current interpretation of dermoscopic colors and structures. The 2-step algorithm and pattern analysis to assist in detecting skin cancer will be stressed. This knowledge will be applied to a set of unknowns, which the audience will help analyze.
