The JAK-STAT pathway is the signal transduction pathway for at least 50 key cytokines in our body. The emergence of JAK inhibitors, aka “Jakinibs”, as a therapeutic class has opened the door for us to treat a wide range or disease states in dermatology. Dr. Hawkes will discuss the “How, When, Where and Why” of JAK inhibitors.
