Upload Submissions for Abstracts & Posters


Abstracts for publication in the Maui Derm Connect program syllabus may also be submitted. Abstracts should be a maximum of 500 words. The deadline for abstract submission is September 1, 2020. Figures and photos are not to be included in the abstract but may be included in the associated poster submission. The deadline for abstract submission is September 1, 2020. Encore presentations are accepted.

Please Note:

The Maui Derm Connect will have a digital poster hall, as well as a special poster discussion to be held in September.  To submit your research for presentation at Maui Derm Connect and for consideration as part of the poster discussion, please complete the below form.

Please submit your poster as a single-page PDF.  Although a document of dimensions will display, we strongly advise orienting your poster in landscape (horizontal) position. If you are creating the PDF from slide presentation software, such as PowerPoint or Keynote, use the 16:9 dimensions.

    Note: You may only choose one meeting for each submission.

      If you are interested in displaying this abstract as a poster a PDF of the poster must be uploaded in conjunction with the abstract.

    • Publication of Poster in JCAD

      Please note: A select number of accepted poster abstracts submitted to MauiDerm Advances in Cosmetic and Medical Dermatology Symposium will be published in an upcoming supplement to The Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology (JCAD), which is indexed on PubMed Central, CINHAL, EMBASE, and SCOPUS.

      If your poster abstract is selected to appear in the supplement to JCAD, please note that, as an author, you will maintain copyright of the abstract and that publication of the abstract will not impact your ability to submit a full clinical study for publication in a journal.

      Clinical abstracts will highlight the following:
      · Title
      · Presenter(s)
      · Affiliations
      · Background
      · Methods
      · Results
      · Conclusions
      · Financial disclosures
      · Keywords
