Dr. Yan currently serves as Chief of the Section of Pediatric Dermatology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where he is Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Dermatology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He received his AB in Philosophy from Princeton University and his MD from the University of Pennsylvania. He has previously served as President of the Society for Pediatric Dermatology, and has served on the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Section on Dermatology Executive Committee. Dr. Yan has been active as a speaker for the AAP, American Academy of Dermatology, and the Society for Pediatric Dermatology. His areas of interest include acne, atopic dermatitis, vascular anomalies, skin infections as well as pediatric dermatology education and workforce issues.
