Kelly Cordoro, MD
Dr. Kelly Cordoro is Professor of Dermatology and Pediatrics, Division Chief of Pediatric Dermatology, Pediatric Dermatology Fellowship Director and the McCalmont Family Endowed Professor of Pediatric Dermatology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She received her MD at Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine, completed Dermatology residency at the University of Virginia and a Pediatric Dermatology Fellowship at UCSF. Dr. Cordoro’s clinical focus is complex medical dermatology, particularly inflammatory and autoimmune diseases, in children. She co-founded the UCSF Pediatric Dermatology/Rheumatology Multidisciplinary Clinic. Her primary research interest is pediatric psoriasis, but she has also studied pediatric melanoma and pigmented lesions in children, laser outcomes in children with disfiguring vascular anomalies, autoimmune disease, and the psychological impact of skin disease. Dr. Cordoro is a passionate educator, has won several teaching awards, and holds various leadership and mentorship positions within dermatology nationally and internationally. She recently founded, and serves as Chair of, the Pediatric Dermatology COVID-19 Response Task Force, a collaborative group assembled to guide dermatologists and patients during the pandemic.
