Dr. Kee-Yang Chung is a Professor of Dermatology at Yonsei University College of Medicine (YUCM), Seoul, Korea. He received the MD degree from YUCM, where he also completed his dermatology residency. He worked with Dr. Tatyana Humphreys at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital for Mohs and reconstruction and is the current chairperson of dermatology at YUCM and also the director of dermatologic surgery at Severance Hospital.

Dr. Chung specializes in Mohs micrographic surgery and reconstruction for skin cancers, including melanoma and autologous fat transfer for various dermatologic conditions. Collaborating with Dr. Mi Ryung Roh, he established the Melanoma Special Clinic at Severance Hospital and it is the best known clinic for melanoma in Korea, specializing in the research and treatment of acral melanomas. Dr. Chung also has great clinical and research interests in the field of fat transfer and keloid surgery. He is an International Traveling Mentor of the ASDS and doctors from other Asian countries visit him for surgical training.

As an active member of the Korean and international dermatologic communities, Dr. Chung belongs to numerous professional organizations. He is an active member of the Korean Dermatologic Association, Korean Society for Investigative Dermatology, Korean Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and Korean Society of Skin Cancer (past president). He is active in international communities as well belonging to SID, ESDR, ASDS (mentor of the ITMP), and DASIL (board member). He also serves as a board member for the Asian Dermatological Association.
