Originally from Michigan, Robert J. Casquejo, PA-C, graduated with honors, holding a degree in Biology from Michigan State University. He completed his degree in medicine in the physician assistant program of Western Michigan University in 1999. Following graduation and completion of the boards, he worked on the trauma surgery service at the Toledo Hospital, and in the emergency department of University of Michigan Hospital, for three years.

 He began his emphasis in dermatology at the Macomb-Oakland Dermatology Associates practice in 2002, where he received training in medical, surgical and cosmetic skin care. This included the use of cosmetic and surgical lasers, surgical dermatology, skin cancer management, as well as an emphasis in the management of Psoriasis. He has served in many professional groups: as a member and clinical instructor for the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, as a co-founder and former executive officer of the Michigan Dermatology Physician Assistants organization, and as a founding executive board member of the Arizona Dermatology Physician Assistants.

 In March of 2012, Rob joined Dr. Glenn Yarbrough and together they opened the Skin and Cancer Center of Scottsdale. Having worked in dermatology for 12 years, he continues to have a particular interest in the management of Psoriasis, and practices medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Patients often laud him for his attention to detail and thoroughness, and for his quick smile, sense of humor, and desire to have a warm, cordial relation with all his patients.
