Elma D. Baron, MD is a Professor of Dermatology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio as well as the Chief of Dermatology at the VA Medical Center in Cleveland. Dr Baron currently serves as the Director of Photomedicine at the University Hospitals of Cleveland and the Director of the Skin Study Center at University Hospitals Research Institute/Case Western Reserve University. Dr Baron is the Clinical Program Director of VISN 10 Teledermatology.

Dr Baron received her medical degree from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine in Manila. She completed her residency at the Philippine General Hospital/University of the Philippines, Manila, in dermatology and then a fellowship in Photomedicine at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School and a fellowship in Photoimmunology at University Hospitals of Cleveland/Case Western Reserve University.
