James Campbell, MD, MS
James L. Campbell, M.D. serves as Adjunct Associate Professor in Surgery (dermatology) at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth in Hanover, NH. Dr. Campbell is the founding partner of Dermatology & Skin Health in Dover, NH.
Dr. Campbell received his bachelor’s degree from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine and his Master’s degree in Biostatistics and Epidemiology from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Mass. He received his medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School and completed his internship and residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center serving as chief resident.
Dr. Campbell is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Dermatology, Fellow of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons and member of the New England Dermatological Society and New Hampshire Medical Society. Dr. Campbell is a respected lecturer and is co-author of the book “Skin Disease: Diagnosis and Treatment,” currently in its 3rd edition and Dermatology DDxDeck, newly in its 2nd edition. He has published in the dermatology, pediatric and general medicine literature. His professional interests include acne, psoriasis, and clinical research.
